- Objective About Fischer, and its two predecessor posts.
I also have extensive notes somewhere to pull together on
- Engine Evaluation, a subject which threatens to fragment into a multitude of related topics.
Endgames are always an important topic on this blog. The latest incipient series was
- Endgames with Equivalent Piece (and Pawns), which was itself the continuation of a series on A Database for ICCF Finals and Openings from the ICCF Finals. Also related to the ICCF database was a post on material imbalances in the middlegame that was to be explored as part of 'Engine Evaluation'.
Before the 'Equivalent Piece' idea, I had an endgame series started on
- Masters of the Endgame, followed by Endgame Storyboard and Candidate Karpov's Endgame Technique. This was to be followed by a Fischer endgame from the 1972 title match.
Going back even further was
- A Magnus Carlsen Game Collection, which I've already scheduled in Green Light for TMERs.
It's no wonder I couldn't remember what I was working on. It's a huge pile of loose threads! Let's see what I can do with it in the weeks to come.
